Description m. bracher 2006-02-11 22:35:36 UTC
When /etc/init.d/open-iscsi is not started, you get the following error message in the yast2 iscsi-client module:
   Error:
   Cannot read current settings

This message is not very helpful :-(
Please print the message that /etc/init.d/open-iscsi is not started, or even better: start it automatically and ask the user if it should be permanently started via runlevel (chkconfig --set open-iscsi on)

This was already fixed in bug #148882
