Description Ladislav Michnovic 2006-02-14 15:54:19 UTC
I started a xterm. konsole, rxvt, rxvt-unicode has the same behaviour.
I typed a text which was longer then a line but the text appears in the same line, replacing the already typed one. Quite unconfortable.
I was guessing it can be related with locales.
But when I type locale (enter), this bug is suddenly not reproducable in the same window of x-terminal.
Changing of $LANG to de_DE.UTF-8 or cs_CZ.UTF-8 do not fix it.
Changing $LANG to en_US.UTF-8 fix it.
I have english instalation of SL 10.1 beta 3.
I'm using sk_SK.UTF-8 locales.
I've reproduced this also on 64 bit maschine with cs_CZ.UTF-8 locales.
I have the latest fontconfig(-devel) and fonts-config (maybe not ralated).

This might be something, which Werner already fixed in libreadline.

Werner? Was that already fixed?
