why are RPMs with ttf/otf fonts available for every architecture instead of only once as *.noarch.rpm ?

e.g.

inst-source/suse/i586/xorg-x11-fonts-syriac-6.9.0-12.i586.rpm
inst-source/suse/ppc/xorg-x11-fonts-syriac-6.9.0-12.ppc.rpm
inst-source/suse/x86_64/xorg-x11-fonts-syriac-6.9.0-12.x86_64.rpm

or the 3 ghostscript-fonts-* RPMs and possibly other RPMs too !?

only pixel fonts like xorg-x11-fonts-100dpi-* etc. differ betweeen architectures

Unfortunately subpackages (of xorg-x11) cannot be noarch. This will be fixed when switching to modularized X.Org 7.x with SUSE 10.2.
