Description Thomas Schmidt 2006-02-16 19:04:03 UTC
After updating to Beta3.95 (from 16.2.) my second harddisk (sdb) is no more found,
with Beta 3 it was working.
fdisk also does not see it. Using a SATA Controller with module "ata_piix".
The first harddisk (of the same type) is found and working.

syslog showing reboot, but nothing about sdb.
Comment 5 Karsten Keil 2006-02-20 20:36:39 UTC
Does beta4 kernel find it (maybe enough to use a Beta4 mini.iso to test).
Comment 6 Karsten Keil 2006-02-20 20:43:07 UTC
Here are some SATA related fixes for next beta, so please try the kernel
from /work/built/mbuild/kalman-kkeil-804/i386/kernel-smp-2.6.16_rc4-2.i586.rpm
