Description Dwight Tuinstra 2006-02-17 03:32:56 UTC
/usr/share/doc/packages/courier-authlib contains the file 'README.authmysql.html'. This got my hopes up greatly, for mysql authentication is what I need for a virtual email system I am building for a client (postfix and pure-ftpd will authenticate from mysql as well, and the client is familiar with MySQL but not LDAP, the other alternative).

However, no /etc/authlib/authmysqlrc, as described in the README, is to be found.

Perhaps the module itself has been omitted? Yes: there is no 'authmysql' in the value of the 'authmodulelist' variable found in /etc/authlib/authdaemonrc. Further, there is no library in /usr/lib that appears to be an authmysql module.

Please if possible include the authmysql module and associated config files.
