I just tried to compile package opie-2.4-554 with the Intel C compiler.

It said

permsfile.c(161): warning #175: subscript out of range

The source code is

	buf[BUFSIZE] = 0;

but, earlier in the same file is the declaration

static char buf[BUFSIZE], buf2[8];

Suggest make array one element larger.

Fixed in STABLE. I'm assigning this to the security-team in case they
wish to investigate this.
