The output of "rpm -qa --last" plus two logs of strace
yast2.prot holds the strace call plus error output.
Update in B4 does not work and is a work in progress: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs:Most_Annoying_Bugs Closing it therefore. This update was done using y2pmsh (the old package manager), which worked out well (which I verified already). This is not supported scenario under any circumstances. Boot from the installation media. And then? A new installation? This was the only way to update the system, and it is a valid 10.1-beta4 now. You can verify that looking into the attachment. But there is a bug: yast2 (x86_64) is segfaulting. Please inspect the strace output. With factory from today (060222), yast2 does no longer segfault. But the filter selection only allows "search" and "summary". Please elaborate, what are you refering to . I mean that "filter selection" - is it in yast sw_single module or where? Yes, in sw_single window, top left. Don't invest - maybe it is a consequence of another bug (impossible to configure an installation source). So please re-check with beta5 (change the status back to ASSIGNED and change the summary when you find it again or close it if not present). Yast2 does no longer segfault with beta5. |
