With compiz running as window manager started (KDE) applications don't dock into the panel's system tray anymore. It seems compiz doesn't implement (correctly) fdo's "System Tray Protocol" specification.

System Tray Protocol is not implemented yet. I'll add it to the todo list.

Whatever changed, with current compiz it seems to work fine.
