* Installation
 Connection to internet with modem ADSL, and MTU is in blank, in install distro debian/ubuntu exist package ppp, with aplication pppoeconf. pppoeconf add numer in MTU for conection. I no conect for number in MTU.

Regarding the 'Resolution no is correct': Can you please add the output of
sysp -q xstuff 
and
hwinfo --monitor?

Now working with Ubuntu Dapper.

it is hard to reproduce without the hardware at hand, so i will try to get hold of such a machine and until then close this as ´later´

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
