under KDE or GNOME? If on console: there is no automount anymore without KDE/GNOME.
Comment 2 Pavel Nemec 2006-02-23 08:16:21 UTC
KDE,
when i insert stick, window with notification appear and open Konqueror in:
system:/media/sdb1
This is right name (/dev/sdb1) but stick is not mounted and i had to mount it as root manualy).
BTW it is very ugly that you need KDE/GNOME for mounting usb stick in my opinion.

Comment 3 Petr Ostadal 2006-02-23 11:36:38 UTC
Why I need KDE or GNOME for hotplug??!
Comment 4 Petr Ostadal 2006-02-24 11:50:12 UTC
to comment #3, today I read tha we have for this case ivman package.
Comment 5 Pavel Nemec 2006-02-24 15:37:14 UTC
Not even cdroms are mounted.
Comment 6 Pavel Nemec 2006-03-07 15:55:19 UTC
work in beta6 with KDE
Comment 7 Karl Eichwalder 2006-03-10 20:02:44 UTC
Does not work with beta7 on GNOME (CF card in built-in card reader).

I haven't seen it up to beta8. Is it hidden that good, or is it still missing?
Comment 9 Lars Vogdt 2006-03-24 06:44:36 UTC
Was missing on 10.1 => added for next Beta. So I close this bug as fixed, now. Please reopen as blocker if ivman is still missing on next beta!
