This is again the stupid bug with QLabel minimum size :(. Lubos, can you please talk to some TT guy if there is a possible fix? This is really very annoying ;( Nevermind, false alarm. Created attachment 72848 [details]
qt3 patch
This qt patch seems to fix it and I can't see any visual problem introduced by it. I still need to check with TT, but I'd say the patch is good enough.
Dirk, I leave this up to you. I can't really judge the risks of including this patch. Please follow your own guts feeling :) I'm very much against such a change so late in the beta cycle. This means this bug has survived several Qt releases, including the major version update to 4.x. Upgrading product once more (the initial report was against 10.1). The only one remaining is with kdesu (wrong password). Using KDE4 from KDE:KDE4:Factory. KDE 4.1 seems to fix some of the issues but I haven't check it all The bug with kdesu is fixed for me with KDE 4.3 from KDE:KDE4:Factory. The corresponding upstream bug is https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166888. I leave this bug open as it is already assigned. Original issue fixed. If somebody still has a similar problem, please report the problem directly upstream. |
