Users who want to rescue data from an installation system (for example to include in a bug report) will have to access an external storage device of some sort.
Modern machines have no floppy anymore and if there the system is getting formatted completely in the process it can make trouble.

As normally on networked machines there is already an internet connection (or at least LAN connection) available at the first installation stage, it would be nice to have a ftp-client inluded in the installation system to transfer the debug data from the machine to a safe place - even if it is a simple one, this should take only some few kilos here. Specially for beta testers this would make life easier.

There already are scp and wget.
