Note: This is a FTP installation!
Comment 3 Andreas Jaeger 2006-02-23 17:54:51 UTC
I did another update of the same machine. Now no package from CD1 is updated (they were updated already) and update continues with CD2. good ;-)

Comment 5 Will Stephenson 2006-02-24 09:51:54 UTC
Upgraded from 10.0 fresh install, kdebase3 and several other KDE packages were not upgraded, resulting in a broken kde.
Comment 6 Anders Norrbring 2006-02-24 15:55:08 UTC
My text-only, new, installation barfed after CD1. It rebooted, and told me it couldn't read from CD2 when it was inserted.

I clicked on "Show details" and deleted the /media/hdc and replaced it with /dev/cdrom and the installation went on fine from there.

I don't know if it's relevant for this bug, but I thought I'd mention it.
Comment 7 Klaus Kämpf 2006-02-27 11:13:19 UTC
comment #5 and #6 don't seem to be related but should be reported in a seperate bug (including full logs ...)

The original report seems to be the cd install issue.
Comment 8 Stanislav Visnovsky 2006-03-01 15:18:22 UTC
Marco, could you, please, retest?
Comment 9 Stanislav Visnovsky 2006-03-03 07:02:53 UTC
IMO this is fixed now.
