Note: This is a FTP installation! I did another update of the same machine. Now no package from CD1 is updated (they were updated already) and update continues with CD2. good ;-) *** Bug 153135 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Upgraded from 10.0 fresh install, kdebase3 and several other KDE packages were not upgraded, resulting in a broken kde. My text-only, new, installation barfed after CD1. It rebooted, and told me it couldn't read from CD2 when it was inserted. I clicked on "Show details" and deleted the /media/hdc and replaced it with /dev/cdrom and the installation went on fine from there. I don't know if it's relevant for this bug, but I thought I'd mention it. comment #5 and #6 don't seem to be related but should be reported in a seperate bug (including full logs ...) The original report seems to be the cd install issue. Marco, could you, please, retest? IMO this is fixed now. *** Bug 154659 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
