Clicking on the Finish button just makes the mouse cursor go Busy, but the screen never closes and the system does not go to a normal runlevel.

with init 5 at the text console I got an empty X window; with SuSEconfig, init 5, rcxdm restart I got back to a normal login.

BTW, this was an upgrade install from a freshly installed 10.0.

Will, with YaST-issues, always attach the logfiles, please.

Not reproducible now.  There is a long pause on my laptop between the Installation Completed screen and the display manager, so I think my (Pentium M 1.5) laptop was just being slow.  If this delay is a real issue then reopen the bug.
