Description Tom Eastep 2006-02-25 04:31:14 UTC
Attempting to read an encrypted email using the default Thunderbird installation from SuSE Linux 10.1 Beta 3, I get a pop-up saying that the Enigmail service is not available.

I uninstalled Enigmail 0.94 and installed Enigmail 0.93.2 (which I downloaded from the Mozilla.com site) and now Thunderbird is working correctly.

This was an upgrade from SuSE 10.0 which may be significant. Once Enigmail 0.93.2 was working correctly, I upgraded back to 0.94 which is now working fine as well.

Is this a shipped package of SUSE Linux? If yes, please name it (the package enigmail is contained in).
Comment 3 Tom Eastep 2006-02-27 15:33:38 UTC
Enigmail is included in MozillaThunderbird.

Do you still see this with newer beta versions of Thunderbird?
There was some incompatibility inbetween the versions. Maybe that was the problem.
Comment 6 Tom Eastep 2006-03-10 15:07:27 UTC
I have seen no further problems with Enigmail since the initial upgrade.
Comment 7 Wolfgang Rosenauer 2006-04-24 15:23:29 UTC
No more reports about that one. Seems to WFM
