yes, intentionally because both drivers influences each other which may lead to a forced reboot of the machine. Once installed the binary drivers will be preferred this applies to nvidia as well as to fglrx. If you don't want to use fglrx uninstall it with the routines provided by the driver vendors. This is the only way to ensure a clean system state |
