Description Martin Vidner 2006-02-27 10:12:01 UTC
The CD boot used to warn "Cool computer, but..." when one tried to install the i586 distro on a Hammer. Now I do not get such a warning.

I thought that the warning could be delayed to the installation proposal, but there is nothing there either.
Comment 2 Steffen Winterfeldt 2006-02-27 11:21:10 UTC
There was a bugreport requesting this (sorry, don't have the number).
The warning originated from the time when we shipped a dvd with 64 bit on
one side and 32 bit on the other.

Now we're doing either bi-arch dvds or single arch media for testing.
In either case the warning is not really necessary and interrupts the install
process (you need manual user interaction after the reboot).
