Try the current xorg-x11-driver-video package of STABLE. It is fixed now. |
After fresh install of 10.1 beta5 on ibook, X are unable to start. It do not crash, but screen is black and it is impossible to go back to framebuffer (i can kill X but black screen persist) /var/log/Xorg.0.log look normal without errors, i will attach it. ~/.X.err is generated : xauth: creating new authority file /home/pavel/.serverauth.3838 X Window System Version 6.9.0 Release Date: 21 December 2005 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 6.9 Build Operating System: SuSE Linux [ELF] SuSE Current Operating System: Linux whowie 2.6.16-rc4-3-default #1 Mon Feb 20 15:56:05 UTC 2006 ppc Build Date: 20 February 2006 Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.X.Org to make sure that you have the latest version.
