Can you please upload screenshots with an appropriate mime-type?
Does this pop-up belong to the zen-updater? It's a important message. Maybe, we can translate it as part of the gnome-patch-translations? in beta8 the full web-updater is english JPR, please re-assign as appropriate. JPR, please re-assign as appropriate. (needinfo feature is partly broken...) The assignment looks fine, maw is on the zen team. Naresh, Maw, you may want to contact Irene Cormican for translation. *** Bug 160586 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Comment from bug 160586: Not only that is untranslated, but even adding a po file to the package will not make it translated. It seems that package has incorrect locale initialization and searches for locales in bad directory. Many strings are still not translated in zen-updater. Overall there are 3301 fuzzy translations, for de.po alone 95 resulting in about every third string appearing untranslated. There are some new translations, some of them are only in Autobuild, not the source tarball. Some of them are duplicate, some of them are in invalid dialect-exclusive format. I am just fixing Autobuild part and sending new tarball to authors. After these changes, translation status (in Autobuild) will be: ar.po: 0 translated messages, 12 fuzzy translations, 129 untranslated messages. bg.po: 11 translated messages, 95 fuzzy translations, 35 untranslated messages. bn.po: 7 translated messages, 80 fuzzy translations, 54 untranslated messages. br.po: 2 translated messages, 50 fuzzy translations, 89 untranslated messages. bs.po: 4 translated messages, 64 fuzzy translations, 73 untranslated messages. ca.po: 4 translated messages, 67 fuzzy translations, 70 untranslated messages. cs.po: 42 translated messages, 45 fuzzy translations, 54 untranslated messages. cy.po: 6 translated messages, 65 fuzzy translations, 59 untranslated messages. da.po: 11 translated messages, 98 fuzzy translations, 32 untranslated messages. de.po: 81 translated messages, 30 fuzzy translations, 30 untranslated messages. el.po: 12 translated messages, 100 fuzzy translations, 29 untranslated messages. en.po: 81 translated messages, 30 fuzzy translations, 30 untranslated messages. es.po: 13 translated messages, 99 fuzzy translations, 29 untranslated messages. fi.po: 12 translated messages, 99 fuzzy translations, 30 untranslated messages. fr.po: 81 translated messages, 30 fuzzy translations, 30 untranslated messages. gl.po: 5 translated messages, 51 fuzzy translations, 85 untranslated messages. he.po: 6 translated messages, 73 fuzzy translations, 62 untranslated messages. hi.po: 11 translated messages, 92 fuzzy translations, 38 untranslated messages. hr.po: 4 translated messages, 91 fuzzy translations, 46 untranslated messages. hu.po: 127 translated messages, 8 fuzzy translations, 6 untranslated messages. id.po: 0 translated messages, 12 fuzzy translations, 129 untranslated messages. it.po: 13 translated messages, 99 fuzzy translations, 29 untranslated messages. ja.po: 13 translated messages, 99 fuzzy translations, 29 untranslated messages. ka.po: 0 translated messages, 141 untranslated messages. km.po: 12 translated messages, 96 fuzzy translations, 33 untranslated messages. ko.po: 11 translated messages, 98 fuzzy translations, 32 untranslated messages. lo.po: 0 translated messages, 141 untranslated messages. lt.po: 11 translated messages, 97 fuzzy translations, 33 untranslated messages. nb.po: 11 translated messages, 100 fuzzy translations, 30 untranslated messages. nl.po: 11 translated messages, 98 fuzzy translations, 32 untranslated messages. pa.po: 12 translated messages, 97 fuzzy translations, 32 untranslated messages. pl.po: 13 translated messages, 99 fuzzy translations, 29 untranslated messages. pt.po: 12 translated messages, 100 fuzzy translations, 29 untranslated messages. ro.po: 10 translated messages, 90 fuzzy translations, 41 untranslated messages. ru.po: 13 translated messages, 96 fuzzy translations, 32 untranslated messages. sk.po: 12 translated messages, 97 fuzzy translations, 32 untranslated messages. sl.po: 11 translated messages, 98 fuzzy translations, 32 untranslated messages. sr.po: 10 translated messages, 95 fuzzy translations, 36 untranslated messages. sv.po: 11 translated messages, 98 fuzzy translations, 32 untranslated messages. ta.po: 0 translated messages, 9 fuzzy translations, 132 untranslated messages. tr.po: 11 translated messages, 98 fuzzy translations, 32 untranslated messages. uk.po: 11 translated messages, 97 fuzzy translations, 33 untranslated messages. zh_CN.po: 13 translated messages, 99 fuzzy translations, 29 untranslated messages. zh_TW.po: 13 translated messages, 99 fuzzy translations, 29 untranslated messages. Details: In zen-updater-7.1.0.tar.bz2: All long po files names in the tarball are invalid, with exception of pt_BR (and maybe en_US). Please shorten these names (e. g. cs_CZ -> cs) with possible exception of pt_BR (Having only pt_BR still sounds bad: only Brazilian Portuguese translation is provided, Portuguese in Portugal will see it untranslated.) In zen-updater-po.tar.bz2: Fully translated: hu.po Partially translated: cs.po The test contains only some translations, which should help to translators, but has a very low level of translation (0-13 strings). 0 translated strings has: at.po id.po ka.po lo.po ta.po You may want to decide to not include the latter two categories into the tarball. Fix: es.po: 81 translated messages, 30 fuzzy translations, 30 untranslated messages. pt_BR.po: 81 translated messages, 30 fuzzy translations, 30 untranslated messages. pt/pt_BR speaker are used to this ideosyncrazy(sp?); do not rename pt_BR. Otherwise you are right. Package submitted to Autobuid. I kept both pt (13 strings translated) and pt_BR (81 strings translated). *** Bug 168754 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 153331 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Has there been any progress lately? Our main update tool should not be presented to the user in a mix of English and native strings ... I checked the Hungarian translations in RC2 and everything looks fine. thanks! Are we still missing anything? A lot of new translations have been put in svn. NEEDINFOing to the original reporter. the original problem is solved, however I found some problem, please check the #179471 |
