When analyzing the logs of bug#153650 (look for [product]), one sees that the product item stays "U____" (means: uninstalled) quite long and goes to "U_Tu_" (uninstalled+transacts => to-be-installed) very late.

Question is: Who is triggering the product installation ?
Why isn't the product selected for installation earlier ?

Can you update your inst-sys by yast2-packager version 2.13.37 or newer (will submit 2.13.38 as soon as mbuild finishes)? Most likely it has been fixed already.

The product is selected for install
- either at the beginning of the proposal (there was a bug here)
- or when entering the add-on products dialog
