Description Thorsten Staerk 2006-03-03 08:52:57 UTC
Having installed my SUSE Linux 10, I get a terrible sound from my computer when starting up. It is the acustic KDE warning message related to the error message: "Failed to connect to the SDP server. Please make sure the sdpd is running; without it, other devices will not be able to find out which services your computer offers".
The message comes from the KDE Bluetooth Framework.
I do not want to use KBluetoothD and I want to turn it off, but there is no possibility given to do this. Please give a possibility to switch off this error message, better, the whole service.

hmm, when I quit kbluetoothd it asks if it should start on next login. Additionally I have a "configure notifications" that allows disabling sound

and I cannot quit kbluetoothd. I click right onto it, I click left onto it, I double-click onto it, I disable it in yast2 - I cannot quit it.

then this was fixed I guess.
