Description kosmas kosmidis 2006-03-03 14:42:29 UTC
In Systems with a network card AsusTek Marvell 88E8053 (and 64 bit cpu), the DNS information is lost every time that the system is rebooted! The resolv.conf file is deleted and replaced by an empty one (created by the Network Manager)
Comment 1 Olaf Kirch 2006-03-03 14:51:11 UTC
Sounds like a problem in network manager not kernel
Comment 2 Michael Gross 2006-03-03 15:04:49 UTC
What exactly did you configure? Please attach your /etc/sysconfig/network directory.

The OS is Suse linux 10.0 (Not 10.1)!
Comment 5 Michael Gross 2006-03-03 17:05:57 UTC
At first please change both the OS-field and the `Found in version'-field.

If this is really Alpha1, try again bith Beta6 and reopen this bug if the problem still ocurrs.
