Please attach /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-modem0 If this could be a YaST problem, also attach the YaST logfiles. Created attachment 71385 [details]

I think this is rather a problem with NetwormManager. It seems not, actually, looking at the logs. What does `/sbin/ifup modem0` return? modem0 No configuration found for modem0 zoz: Hi! For some reason, "modem0" stopped being a valid configuration, and `ifup` fails. Any ideas what went wrong? Will check that. Have the same problems with bonding devices. Seems all non-physical and dialup devices are affected. Danke, Christian. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 157081 *** Since I can not access the bug 157001 I write my comments here: In RC3 I can configure a modem but I am not able to access it via networkmanager, it is not shown there. |
