Description Simon Crute 2006-03-05 10:42:21 UTC
Hi,
Prior to the intergration of libzypp I was able to setup a network installation point by mounting the CD isos, and creating the following directory structure.

lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    8 2006-01-23 22:42 boot -> cd1/boot
dr-xr-xr-x  7 root root 6144 2006-03-01 10:14 cd1
dr-xr-xr-x  5 root root 4096 2006-03-01 10:15 cd2
dr-xr-xr-x  4 root root 4096 2006-03-01 10:13 cd3
dr-xr-xr-x  4 root root 4096 2006-03-01 10:13 cd4
dr-xr-xr-x  4 root root 4096 2006-03-01 10:13 cd5
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   11 2006-01-23 22:43 content -> cd1/content
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   15 2006-01-23 22:43 control.xml -> cd1/control.xml
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root   11 2006-01-23 22:43 media.1 -> cd1/media.1
drwxr-xr-x  2 root root  104 2006-03-03 21:36 yast

the yast directory has the files
instorder and order.

This nologner works.

Sorry, very bad bug report, more details and yast logs to follow later.
Comment 2 Simon Crute 2006-03-05 21:07:44 UTC
In the "Installaton Settings" window of yast, under software it says
"cannot read package data from installation media. Media error ?

* Error no proposal.

Yast logs to follow.

tar of /var/log/YaST2 directory.
Comment 6 Stanislav Visnovsky 2006-03-13 10:14:12 UTC
Just point YaST to CD1 instead. yast/order and yast/instorder are no longer supported.
