how is it starting more than once? Are you starting it manually? yes, manually. We actually DO want to allow it to run multiple instances simultaneously if the user manually does so, because we go through great pains to allow this. The most useful reason is fast-user-switching, Xnest, multi-user logins, and so on. We support all of these configurations. If the user manually runs the applet more than once, they get what they asked for. If it is allowed to run multiple instances simultaneously, than the user should be able to close them when he doesn't need them any more. |
