you should not be able to start the nm-applet more than ones.

at present you are able to start it in more than one instances!

Even an exit button in one of the mouse-menus would be helpfull.

how is it starting more than once? Are you starting it manually?
Comment 2 Forgotten User wMtT3MV6AL 2006-03-06 18:55:57 UTC
yes, manually.
Comment 3 Robert Love 2006-03-06 22:12:24 UTC
We actually DO want to allow it to run multiple instances simultaneously if the user manually does so, because we go through great pains to allow this. The most useful reason is fast-user-switching, Xnest, multi-user logins, and so on. We support all of these configurations.

If the user manually runs the applet more than once, they get what they asked for.

If it is allowed to run multiple instances simultaneously, than the user should be able to close them when he doesn't need them any more.
