What message does it give you?
AFAIK for these devices will no longer get added to the fstab (exchangable devices), this is getting handled by HAL and KDE/Gnome.
The KDE/Konqueror error message I get when clicking floppy icon in "My computer" is the following: Method "Mount" with signature "ssas" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist Please attach the output of `lshal' - that there is no entry in the fstab is normal as mentioned. lshal output for my desktop
both my laptop and my desktop (both 10.1b6 w/ KDE) have the exact same error - therefore I've attached both lshal outputs - see comments #4+#5. Reassigning to the KDE-maintainers. |
