Description Forgotten User gwvjqN9qyZ 2006-03-07 00:04:17 UTC
When installing package php4-pear, some important files are missing that are e.g. necessary for running a cyrus and postfix server with web-cyradm.

Files such as:

DB.php (needed for sql connectivity) Mail.php and more are only included in the full distribution, so an installation from source is necessary. This problem did not exist in prior versions of SUSE Linux.

Please notice that PHP4 was dropped for SL 10.1.
However the maintainer should decide.

no bug here.

php4-pear contains what the official PEAR distribution shipped with PHP4 contains.

you should install other pear packages using the command line tool "pear".

PHP4 is gone right now, considere an upgrade to PHP 5.1.x .

since it's very unlikely that Petr will include more PHP4 packages in 10.0 I'm closing this as "INVALID".
