Package versions installed (current autobuild for libzypp): rug-7.1.1-9 zmd-7.1.1-14 libzypp-0.0.8-39 libzypp-zmd-backend-0.0.8-39 Hi Mauro can you test this with latest packages. Also looks like either zmd is not refreshing or libzypp isn't refreshing it's internal view of the world after the transaction. Hi Mauro can you test this with latest packages. Also looks like either zmd is not refreshing or libzypp isn't refreshing it's internal view of the world after the transaction. And please attach /var/log/zmd-backend.log if this bug still exists. Ok, installed manually the package, updated rug, zmd to: rug-7.1.1-10 zmd-7.1.1-15 libzypp-0.0.8-39 libzypp-zmd-backend-0.0.8-39 restarted zmd and reproduced the above. Will append log file. Getting the same than Andreas. Using lastest maw's packages: local128:~ # rpm -qa | grep zypp libzypp-0.0.8-35 libzypp-zmd-backend-0.0.8-35 local128:~ # rpm -qa | grep rug rug-7.1.1-10 local128:~ # rpm -qa | grep zmd zmd-inventory-7.0.0-11 libzypp-zmd-backend-0.0.8-35 zmd-7.1.1-15 rpm shows the packages as not installed, but rug pa will show it as installed. Same happens when you remove a bundle (the packages are actually removed, but still in the rug/zmd db). Created attachment 71646 [details]

Does this still happen ? Adding Nat, it was happening to me/Jawaad on Friday (0310) afternoon's build. *** Bug 157403 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Still happens with current packages from autobuild as of 2006-03-12 12:00 CET. After installing xv with zen-updater I have: aj@x40:~/rpms> rug info xv Catalog: ftp://dist.suse.de/factory/FACTORY-E/inst-source-extra/suse Name: xv Version: 3.10a-1083 Arch: i586 Installed: No Status: up-to-date $ rpm -q xv xv-3.10a-1083 After a "rug restart" the package is seen: rug info xv Catalog: System Name: xv Version: 3.10a-1083 Arch: i586 Installed: Yes Status: up-to-date Installed Size: 5453039 looks like zmd caches states and only gets cleared after a restart. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 156795 *** |
