Description Kurt Garloff 2006-03-09 09:38:35 UTC
Upgrading from 9.1 (with a large grub menu.lst), the intermediate booting
for stage2 of the install process fails. grub does not even get to display
a menu.
Two observations:
- The generated menu.lst file had the old menu entries merged and the
SL10.0.42 entry added, but the default command did lack an argument.
- Booting from a rescue disk, chrooting and running grub-install /dev/sda
  did NOT fix the problem.

I'll have to investiaget further.

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
