Description Richard Biener 2006-03-09 12:32:00 UTC
Updating from 10.0 to 10.1. It looks like y2base is leaking memory, as after updating it uses 400MB resident memory.

How exactly did you perform the update? Please attach the y2logs here.
Comment 2 Richard Biener 2006-03-09 13:46:16 UTC
See attachment with ID 71970. Update with Base + X11 selection, do not delete obsolete packages. Otherwise joe-user-yes-yes-yes-update.
Comment 3 Michael Gross 2006-03-13 16:41:17 UTC
Please attach the yast logfiles located in /var/log/YaST2/.

Comment 6 Klaus Kämpf 2006-04-26 16:55:16 UTC
Probably due to the fact that up to Beta9 'repomd' data was on CDs and preferred. Now the usual "yast" data is used.

Anyway, no further reports.
