Marcus told me that this does not occur in general with the i810 driver! There are notebooks with the same chipset, on which this problem does *not* occur.
e.g. it can't be reproduced on our i945G testmachines. This should be tested again after switching to the new i810 driver (SUSE 10.2 Alpha). ==> LATER reopen *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 179773 *** |
