Description Cornelius Schumacher 2006-03-10 07:56:11 UTC
When I search something in beagle-search I get a number of results, but none of the results contains an active link to open the document which is associated with the result. This makes the tool pretty much useless.

I'm running beagle-search on a KDE desktop.

Are you saying that double clicking the result or right click->open don't work?
Comment 2 Cornelius Schumacher 2006-03-10 15:58:07 UTC
I don't see the same results as this morning. At the moment I only see "Application" results. There both double clicking and right click->open seems to work. It only takes a while and there is no feedback that something is started. I will file a separate bug for that.

For the results I got this morning the right click->open didn't work. I didn't try double-click as I didn't expect that a double-click would do something. I would have expected to have some HTML style links for opening documents there, though.

I now see one tomboy note, a perl script and a text file for which double-clicking doesn't do anything.
