Description Marcus Meissner 2006-03-10 09:28:54 UTC
when upgrading from 10.0 to 10.1 the dbus-1-qt package is not upgraded
to dbus-1-qt3 (which replaces it functionally).

The whole update seems to be fucked up, I will attach yast2 logs and
rpm -Va output.

See
http://w3.suse.de/~kkaempf/specifications/how-to-specify-dependencies/dep.html

dbus-1-qt3 should provide and obsolete dbus-1-qt in order to present itself as a valid upgrade candidate for dbus-1-qt
Comment 4 Marcus Meissner 2006-03-10 09:54:08 UTC
the problem is that there is now a dbus-1-qt,. which is qt4 based.... this makes it a bit difficult.

also there are several more update problems which I think are unrelated.

Thorsten, Klaus, any ideas on how to solve c4?

Did a plain install of SL10.0 and updated to SL10.1 Beta 8. No more confusion, thus closing as fixed.
