Description Jean-francois Lafaye 2006-03-12 16:38:08 UTC
Hi, i have upgraded from suse 9.2 to suse 10 and the boot stop during mount of data filesystem : fsck.jfs failed with buffer overflow. i have upgraded the system to last level using you but jfs tools stay at level : 1.1.8-3.
the kernel level is : Linux idefix 2.6.13-15.8-default #1 Tue Feb 7 11:07:24 UTC 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
after investigation i get the jfs tools from sourceforge cvs and installed it, the current level is : fsck.jfs version 1.1.10, Mar 12 2006.
After that i was able to make the fsck on the jfs filesystem and the systme boot fine.
Please can you add his upgrade to YOU to get it as standard upgrade (rpm)
Regards

We have jfsutils 1.10 in SUSE Linux 10.1 and CODE 10; we won't release an
update for SUSE Linux 10.0, sorry!
