after installation, I always remove certain packages which are installed by default, i.e. evolution-data-server and all its dependencies, kdelibs, kdebase, beagle, most of -sharp packages.

after this, GNOME Clock Applet won't start anymore. The error says something like "there was a problem loading OAFIID:GNOME_ClockApplet. Do you want to remove this applet from your preferences?" (i use czech locale, so this error message isn't entirely accurate)
other applets that I use work fine

i guess there's a missing dependency somewhere. i'm sorry but i don't have the time necessary to find out which exact package is responsible for this.
however, i don't think that something like clock applet should depend on any of the mentioned packages. it should work on a minimal system.

the missing dependency is evolution-data-server

Added Requires on e-d-s to gnome-panel and gnome-panel-nld.
