Description Gustav Quade 2006-03-15 14:15:10 UTC
Areca Raid cards are currently the first choice for high end raid6 cards. Under the URL ftp://ftp.unnet.nl/pub/areca/RaidCards/AP_Drivers/Linux/DRIVER/SuSE
you can find the driver and the installation instructions.

As I heard from the company the driver was already submitted to kernel.org.

Do you have a pointer to their kernel.org submission?

And if it's not already in the upstream kernel, we can't accept it at this late
point in time, sorry. The company can build stand-along kernel module packages
to make it easier for their customers if they wish.
