Description Stephan - 2006-03-17 22:30:33 UTC
Start Yast2 select some new software an install.. Yast2 means need CD2 but I can't open the cdrom drive! Also the "eject"-Button in Yast2-Dialog doesn't work here.

only eject with root from console works.

Marius, a dup of 154326?
Comment 5 Marius Tomaschewski 2006-03-27 16:04:14 UTC
Yes, it should be "allways" a duplicate where you see

MediaCD.cc(closeTray):199 Close tray /dev/hdc failed (Eingabe-/Ausgabefehler)

on a beta <= beta8.

The eject fails because it is mounted by somebody else
(e.g. the automounter / KDE / user).
