After fresh installation of beta8 I don't have the package ispell-german.
But I need this e.g. for kmail.

I see a new user use aspell but in my old settings is selected ispell.
I think many user have this "update" problem.

In which language did you install ?

ispell-german will only be installed on-demand (if german is selected as primary or secondary language)

the same prob with beta9.. you can simply reproduce it with a default kde/gnome installation..

Just tried to reproduce on Build 905 -> didn't miss packages. Closing as DUPLICATE of bug #158778
