Description Chong Ahn 2006-04-06 21:47:30 UTC
"Cannot start the virtual machine" error as 8th paravirtual server was configured via YaST. I created seven paravirtual servers, excluding Domain-0. As I tried to add one more virtual server, the error occurred from Preparing Installation of the Virtual Machine of YaST. YaST logs are attached.

not enough /dev/loop* devices? (default: 8)

If yes -> bug 157357
Comment 6 Chong Ahn 2006-04-07 21:45:08 UTC
As I added in /etc/modprobe.conf the line: "loop max_loop=256", log/messages says "Ignoring bad line start ing with 'loop'".

You just confirmed that this is really a duplicate ;-)

Please have a look at bug 141950, comment #7.
