I can confirm this very behaviour for IPW2100, too. The network repeatedly breaks down when I try to configure the Online Update. After the lookup error and the closure of the respective YaST module, the connection is resumed after a short while without user interaction! Created attachment 83941 [details]

Excalty the same problem here with ipw2200 and only during Online Update configuration, everytime. I have to reopen connection to access point via Networkmanager to restore my wlan network connection. When plugged with Ethernet, no problem at all. The firmware used is the one on the non-oss addon cd. Please attach /var/log/YaST2 as tarball, the problem is likely caused by YaST. Created attachment 84108 [details]

I have to add, that I was wrong with the resuming of the network connection! Me, too, I have to manually restart it with KNM.

Content of /var/log/YaST2 as tar.bz2
Maybe it contains a lot of useless information (especially y2log-1)...
1.) Please try again. We have changed something on the registration server. Maybe it works now. 2.) If not, please attache also /var/log/messages Created attachment 84312 [details]
