Description Dag Rende 2006-07-17 15:26:45 UTC
I use KNetworkManager.
Sometimes I work with a dialup connection using Kppp (mobile modem or UMTS PC Card).
When the connection is established I can ping and use my mail client etc.
But Konqueror refuses to work - it says "an error occured loading http:...".
Firefox works after turning off Offline mode.

How should I make the dialup connection to make KnetworkManager happy?

KNetworkManager has a menu item "Dialup Connections", so it seems to know about dialup usage.

Regards,
Dag Rende

Closing as dupe of later bug as the fix is documented there. I'll try to get this into our kppp packages or at least into the documentation.
