Description Brian Marr 2006-08-25 22:01:08 UTC
I had to find some way for providing feedback to Novell. Please forward this to the appropriate people. After an absence of 12-18 months I went back to look at the "Suse List" archives recently. What a disgrace. The whole list in full of spam. I don't know how this can be tolerated. The archives are being rendered useless. This is a bad image for Novell. It needs to be addressed. Some hard decisions need to be made about the future of the list. I like the old "Suse List". I would like to see it continue. But not in its current form.

The spam "only" exists in the list archives on lists.suse.com, luckily not in the mailinglists itsself :-)

About the list archives:
The opensuse lists run on the new listserver with spamfree archives already. The lists @suse.com will be moved to the new listserver also, the archives will be regenerated without the spam.

(Henne, did I miss something?)
