Two times we have noticed a segfault in YaST during the installation, during the installation source setup phase (once it was on 32 bits, another one was on amd64). After the segfault, the installation recovers and continues.

Please find the attached contents of the /var/log directory of the affected machine (the 32-bit one).

This happened to me as well, but the installation did not recover. SuSEconfig ran, and kdm started even if the system configuration was not complete.

In my case (logs in comment #2) installation also didn't recover. The remaining part of installation was skipped and the system started to kdm
