Description Andrew Hartlage 2006-11-02 11:43:35 UTC
I am using OpenSUSE10.2 beta1 as an update from SUSE Linux 10.1. I am using the standard package of Gnumeric 1.6.3.

Every time I click on the Help -> Contents on the Gnumeric toolbar, the help window appears but fails to load. It instead gives an error message:

The Uniform Resource Identifier 'file:///opt/gnome/share/gnumeric/1.6.3/doc/C/gnumeric.xml' is invalid or does not point to an actual file.

However, it appears that the gnumeric help files are instead installed in:

/usr/share/gnome/help/gnumeric/C/

This bug was reported upstream in the GNOME bugzilla (#161404, #330339, #336777) but was supposedly resolved back in 1.6.2 and 1.4.

This should be finally fixed in Beta2. Please test (you can already get the updates from the factory tree, or wait for Beta2) and reopen if there are any other problems.
