This is fixed. Please update evolution-data-server package in the 10.2 update channel. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 222479 *** |
My friend is a KDE-user and I'm slowly trying to convert him into Gnome. The conversion started with Evolution. He said it's good but there was no way to make the Evolution remember his password - and he felt annoyed. So I looked into this problem and noticed that he was missing gnome-keyring-manager. We both run openSUSE 10.2 and Evolution's installed via openSUSE Build Service -> Gnome -> STABLE:. I don't know if this 'problem' is absent in openSUSE 10.3, or in GNOME:UNSTABLE (installed from build service) because in the spec file I couldn't find the gnome-keyring-manager and I have no idea what 'evolution = %{?epoch:%{epoch}:}%{version}-%{release}' includes. So, if someone can confirm the missing dependency or update the package, I'm thankful. If one wants, his passwords should be stored :-). Lazy or busy people...
