any comments, suggestions? under root user it works fine. But didnt work with newly created test user. (In reply to comment #1) > Created an attachment (id=139346) [edit] > evo trace > Can you install debuginfo and bug-buddy packages - strace output sometimes doesn't help developers to exactly trace the issue. TIA. thanks for reply. Ive installed debuginfo packages evo starts its mail configuration wizard. I've select exchange server. fill account data and password then a get this (evolution-2.8:23498): libsoup-CRITICAL **: soup_connection_send_request: assertion `SOUP_IS_CONNECTION (conn)' failed (evolution-2.8:23498): libsoup-CRITICAL **: soup_connection_reserve: assertion `SOUP_IS_CONNECTION (conn)' failed (evolution-2.8:23498): libsoup-CRITICAL **: soup_connection_send_request: assertion `SOUP_IS_CONNECTION (conn)' failed (evolution-2.8:23498): libsoup-CRITICAL **: soup_connection_reserve: assertion `SOUP_IS_CONNECTION (conn)' failed Created attachment 147077 [details]

Some new information
Most of traces seems to be bogus (all ??) Thanks to bug #258433 It is high time, some one fix it. *** Bug 241287 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Seems like a libsoup issue. Any user can reproduce this in 10.3 with a better trace? Dinar: You are facing this still ? Now the kernel bug is resolved, so you should be able to get better traces. doesnt solved. kernel-source-2.6.18.8-0.5 linux-kernel-headers-2.6.18.2-3 kernel-default-2.6.18.8-0.5 evolution-2.8.2-7 evolution-data-server-1.8.2-11 evolution-exchange-2.8.2-5 evolution-sharp-0.12.0-5 libsoup-2.2.96-31.1 Created attachment 162754 [details]

This has been fixed in 2.10 and is available in opensuse 10.3. IMHO this not a blocker as this happens only for a particular timezone Asia/Jerusalem. Closing as per comment#15 (released as a part of OpenSUSE 10.2 update) I cannot find a submission ... Can anybody please link me to the online update? Sorry Anja, for my previous comment, patch has not been submitted yet for 10.2 update. When do you plan to submit? ping again - can anyone please help? Anja, I will be committing the patch by tomorrow with the swamp id in comment #15. Have submitted the patch to auto-build along with patches for bug 351115 and bug 345551. released |
