Created attachment 156981 [details] Output of Knoppix 5.1.1 dmesg command Brand new setup. No OS ever installed. Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA69G-S3H CPU: AMD BE-2350 Hard drive: Western Digital 400GB SATA drive CD/DVD: ASUS SATA CD/DVD DRW-1814BLT Memory: 4x1GB OCZ DDR2 800 Tried both 32 bit and 64 bit opensuse 10.3 beta 1, each and every installation option. Always the same message about no able to find installation drive. Tried BIOS SATA controller set to: SATA->AHCI and also Native IDE Tried also Kubuntu 7.04 AMD64 version with the same results. NOTE: Knoppix 5.1.1 (32 bit version) works. Boots fine, recognizes HD and DVD SATA drives. I was able to partition the drive using this knoppix 5.1.1 version.
