What do you mean with 'automounted in /media'? To the machine attached USB-sticks or something like that? Be sure that consolekit is running (there where problems with the update case, were consolekit wasn't started automatically on boot) and if your environment in your desktop session contains XDG_SESSION_COOKIE I mean usb things and dvd. # ps acx|grep console 2090 ? Ssl 0:00 console-kit-dae # echo $XDG_SESSION_COOKIE 2c67202949469ae700db4f0046a77700-1187971146.96857-879022883 * which desktop do you use? * try latest hal packages from Factory/Stable * attach lshal with a CD/DVD or/and USB-Stick in the machine * start lshal -m , insert a CD/DVD, wait some seconds and attach output here. Do the same for a USB-Stick ist mir zu kompliziert *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 303999 *** |
