Description of Problem:
User can not open multiple views of the same document. 


Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Application menu entry "view"
2. search for "split editor view"
3. no corresponding functionality found 

Actual Results:
 no multiple views possible

Expected Results:
  The same document should provide more than on view. 
  A horizontal split editor view pane of the same document makes it easier
to compare /edit different regions of the same document without scrolling
or bookmarks. See how 'Emacs' handles multiple views.
