When attempting to do an online update OR add a software repository, the update fails with a proxy error 407, proxy authentication required.  The error seems to be a curl error.

I am trying to add a repository and I get a Dialog Box with the following information:

"Unable to create repository from URL 'http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/

History: - Curl error for 'http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/repodata/repomd.xml':
Error code: HTTP response 407
Error message: The requested URL returned error: 407

Try Again?"
